Entrepreneur with the capacity to manage large-scale projects efficiently. His extensive past experience in the marine sector makes him the ideal managing director of the group.
Amongst other past positions, he has been Technical Director in a ship-yard in charge of new constructions; head project manager in a refit ship-yard, as well as working as an independent surveyor and naval architect.
He decided to found the company Atlante Marine Solutions in Barcelona in response to a recognised gap in the market and has then developed this idea further in conjunction with Nick Adam and Monica del Toro with whom he has jointly created the Atlante Group.

After an initial period working as a journalist; fisherman and as Mate in commercial vessels, he changed tack and trained to become a boat-builder in the U.K.
Following several years involved in building and restoring traditional wooden vessels in various European countries he established one of the first fibreglass boat-yards in Greece. He decided then to go sailing and spent a decade navigating a 12m sailboat around the North and South Atlantic, establishing different businesses along the way.
Since settling in Barcelona in 2000, he formed Adam Marine S.L. to continue refitting superyachts and to provide a base from which to prototype new ideas. Over the last three years, the emphasis has slowly shifted towards the integration of new technologies into the marine sector, both in leisure and commercial vessels.

Monica is one of the founding partners of Atlante group and is our Commercial Director.
Her primary experience is as a Naval Engineer: She has worked in the marine sector for more than 10 years where she has been involved in everything from new construction to project managing refits in superyachts, including logistical support for the Spanish Navy and as a commercial sales director(marine). This puts her in the ideal position to run the commercial side of the Group.
Amongst her many responsibilities are the opening up of new business connections; project management and the maintenance of good professional relationships with our clients.

Samuel is originally from Menorca where he first learnt to handle boats as a child. He fell in love with the sea and enjoyed working on boats so much that he decided to follow a nautical career.
During ten seasons working as a captain he also studied as a technical naval engineer, using this combined experience to advantage when subsequently employed by a shipyard refitting super-yachts.
He has distilled this combined experience and brings a keen technical mind and a good eye for detail to enhance the Atlante Technical Department.

Full of energy and enthusiasm, Marta's extensive experience is also of great benefit to our Technical Department.
She previously worked for several years in the world of merchant shipping, gaining an 'in-depth' knowledge and understanding of their operating and maintenance procedures. She followed this by working in the technical office of a shipyard involved in refitting mega-yachts
LAURA MILOCANI
Nautical Engineering Student

Young, keen and quick to learn, she already has considerable 3D drawing skills and is fast and precise in the production of plans; to such a degree in fact, that Atlante has already offered her a position to follow her graduation and looks forward to welcoming her as a part of our core team.
